A beauty school is an accredited academic institution where
individuals are taught and trained in hair care, cosmetics, skincare,
fragrances, and personal care. It is an important industry applicable in other
industries, especially in the fashion and entertainment industries. And it will
keep being a relevant sector because as humans we just cannot do without these
beauty products.
There are so many opportunities that abound in this industry. If
you are a licensed beautician, you get to work with fashion icons, models, TV
personalities, actors and actresses, artists, and celebrities. To become a
licensed beautician, you have to go through an accredited beauty or cosmetology
school or pursue a cosmetology degree in college.
Depending on the one you want to go for, the cost varies between
$5,000 to over $20,000 which can be unaffordable for some people who want to
pursue this path. Therefore, I have curated a list of over 9 grants for a
beauty school that you can apply for to help you cut down on the cost and assist
with the funding. Some grants could even completely cover the entire cost of
beauty school for you.
